As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll keep our energy generation assets running smoothly—from CHP (combined heat & power) engines and gas-to-grid systems to flare stacks and siloxane removal plants.

You’ll play a hands-on role in operating, maintaining, and optimising cutting-edge technology to hit performance, safety, and sustainability targets.

What you’ll do

• Your role is all about keeping our energy generation assets performing at their best
• You’ll diagnose and fix faults, carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and make smart adjustments to optimise performance
• Working with CHP engines, gas-to-grid systems, and advanced control systems, you’ll ensure everything runs safely, efficiently, and meets power targets.
• You’ll also collaborate with site teams, manage contractors, and help solve recurring issues—making a real impact every day

What you’ll bring

• Time-served engineering background with a mechanical background (HNC/ONC or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience with power generation systems / CHP engines
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Must have a valid driving licence

About the Team

You’ll support and guide engineers, contractors, apprentices, and other trades to boost technical expertise across the team.

You’ll provide accurate performance and maintenance data, help introduce innovative technologies, and work closely with suppliers and other departments to keep everything running smoothly

This role also includes being part of a standby rota to provide 24/7 emergency support—because reliability matters
