Position Overview:
We’re looking for an Aggregates & Asphalt Technician to join our Technical Department at Breedon. This role is based at our asphalt plant laboratories and on-site contracts, supporting testing for major Highways projects in Norfolk.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory and on-site testing of asphalt and aggregates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively within a team and travel to various company sites.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience in construction materials testing is an advantage. We do however welcome applications from candidates without experience as full training can be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical ability, IT skills, and clear communication.
  • Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence required; CSCS card needed for site work, support can be provided to obtain the required qualification. 

This is a hands-on role combining lab analysis with site-based testing in PPE.
